MEDIA TEAM

Responsibilities:

• Be on time for Sunday services & midweek rehearsals (if required)

Depending on which role you take on these vary (training will be given):

• Sound operator: Sunday 8am – 12.30
  • Facilitate the worship band leading the church in sung worship using the sound desk and stage equipment
  • Attending midweek evening rehearsal to ensure worship band can practise
• Visuals operator: Sunday 8.45am – 12.30
  • Checking media before the service begins to make sure everything is ready
  • Enable congregation to engage with the service by ensuring correct visual media is shown at the correct time
• Livestream operator: Sunday 9.30am – 12.30
  • During 9.30am service, check media content and set up camera presets to match band placement
  • Stream 11.15am service from studio, choosing appropriate cameras and media to ensure that people joining in on YouTube can engage will all the service elements
• Lighting operator: Sunday 9.15am – 12.30
  • Be prepared by knowing what lighting presets are available
  • Switching between lighting presets at correct timing to enhance the service content

Time commitment

Members of the team serve once a month on a rota. Ideally you would serve at both morning services on that day but it’s not a deal breaker.
